A corporate museum that presents the cross-cutting themes of the family, the history of the company and its philosophy.
The Bimbo Interactive Museum (MiBimbo) is classified as a corporate museum within the typology of cultural spaces. Its proposed theme highlights the transversal pillars of family, corporate history, and innovation (one of its core characteristics), as well as the philosophy that has led it to become the world leader in the baking industry. This museum was established in honor of Grupo Bimbo’s 80th anniversary as a space to honor the past, celebrate the present, and project the future of this great family.
MiBimbo is a museum that showcases a proudly Mexican, world-leading company that has innovated since its inception in both its processes and products. It is a company that strives to be sustainable, highly productive, and deeply human; and it has a solid sustainability strategy committed to environmental care, community well-being, and human nutrition.
Through spaces such as We Are Family, We Sow a Legacy, We Are Bakers and We Bake with Love, the museum offers an interactive, dynamic, and fun journey. This experience integrates a collection of artifacts, vintage audiovisual materials, memorabilia, interactive exhibits, and immersive experiences.
Each exhibition space has a distinct character in terms of content, offering varied experiences within an environment designed with a modern, clean aesthetic. The layout features lines and volumes that are recognizable for their simplicity and interesting in their configurations. To achieve this, we used large solid blocks of geometric shapes, neutral colors, and simple material finishes, accented by environmental lighting to allow the content to take center stage. Additionally, we incorporated colors associated with the brand and the featured themes as a foundation for integrating graphics and a wide range of exhibit design resources that ultimately provide sensory richness and complexity.
