JAPI Jalisco Interactive Journey

Guadalajara, Jalisco

2024

A museum that celebrates the greatness of Jalisco.

The renovation of the Museum seeked to bring its visitors closer to the natural and cultural heritage of Jalisco: from its natural wealth and the diversity of its people, to its unique identity and its capacity for innovation. The four key themes that guide the visitor's journey through the greatness of Jalisco are:

  • Humans: With their body, mind and spirit, people from Jalisco learn, help each other, and create.
  • Nature: Jalisco is one of the leading States in Mexico in terms of the most biodiversity, due to its priviledged geographical location.
  • Identity: Jalisco's has diverse traditions, emblematic sites and inspiring historical characters, as well as values that have characterized the community.
  • Creativity: Unique innovations, technologies and artistic expressions, from the popular arts that have been alive for centuries to the expression of visual artists, designers, filmmakers, writers and dancers that allow us to experience Jalisco from an aesthetic perspective.

JAPI is a truly connected museum that integrates its indoor and outdoor areas around these four themes. Both are spaces with a common vocation and in constant communication, but with different personalities and resources that make them complementary.
